A PNG file is a file format image used by many editing programs and software. It is a lossless format and is often used in photos you find all over the internet. Images come in many shapes and sizes, and every image format has its particular strengths and weaknesses. And, two of the most common (and commonly confused) file formats are JPG vs. PNG.
